Evony Archer Camp Guide: Upgrade Requirements & Other Tips

In the strategy game ‘Evony: The King’s Return‘, the ‘Archer Camp‘ is a building for training ranged troops. After meeting certain prerequisites, you can upgrade this building to unlock higher-level archer types, gain buffs, and receive rewards. Besides, you can equip blazons through this building to further enhance your archer’s strength. Please read this guide for more details.

  The benefits listed after each level in the table only represent the additional buffs or troop types unlocked at that level. The actual effect is a cumulative combination of the current level’s and all previous levels’ benefits.
  For example, at level 45, the buff includes ranged troop attack +30%, HP +25%, and defense +25%; at level 50, it includes ranged troop attack +45%, HP +55%, and defense +55%.

Archer Camp Duty

The duty officer has 5 levels, and their corresponding duty requirements and benefits are as follows.
  1. Junior Officer
    1. Requirements: The duty general’s attack reaches 500, and leadership reaches 450
    2. Benefits: Ranged troop training speed +10% and training capacity +500
  2. Medium Officer
    1. Requirements: The duty general’s attack reaches 850, and leadership reaches 800
    2. Benefits: Ranged troop training speed +20% and training capacity +1,000
  3. Senior Officer
    1. Requirements: The duty general’s attack reaches 1,150, and leadership reaches 1,100
    2. Benefits: Ranged troop training speed +30% and training capacity +1,500
  4. Special Officer
    1. Requirements: The duty general’s attack reaches 1,300; leadership reaches 1,250; power reaches 3,300,000
    2. Benefits: Ranged troop training speed +50%; training capacity +2,000, and an extra 50%
  5. Super Officer
    1. Requirements: The duty general’s attack reaches 1,400; leadership reaches 1,400; power reaches 3,300,000
    2. Benefits: Ranged troop training speed +70%; training capacity +2,500, and an extra 70%

Usage Recommendations:
  • John I of Portugal is suitable for the early stages of city development. This general focuses on providing buffs to in-city ranged troops, and his improvement to ranged training speed and capacity is better than the other two generals.
  • Sulla is suitable for players who prefer a well-rounded development of all four troop types. Besides providing significant buffs to ranged troops, he also boosts the defense and HP of all in-city troops.
  • John Hawkwood is better suited for PvP. Some of his attributes only take effect during attacks, and he also weakens enemy defensive forces to some extent.

Blazon on Archer Camp

The Archer Camp will unlock all 6 blazon slots when it reaches Lv35.
You can put ‘Valor‘ and ‘Compassion‘ types of blazons on the Archer Camp.
Next, select blazons with the following attributes as much as possible:
  • Ranged Troop Attack
  • Ranged Troop Defense
  • Ranged HP
Then, you can consume unwanted blazons to upgrade the level of the blazons you need, thereby increasing their attributes. Also, when you upgrade a blazon to Lv10 and Lv15, new random attributes will be added.
Furthermore, you can cultivate a blazon to enhance its attributes when it reaches the max level. Cultivation needs blazon crystals, which can be obtained in the ‘Smelter‘. Use unwanted blazons in Smelter to get blazon crystals.
By the way, using the inheritance feature allows you to transfer cultivation attributes from one max-level blazon to another. After the transfer, the original blazon’s cultivation attributes will disappear.

Archer Camp Citizen

You can also assign corresponding citizens to the Archer Camp to increase buffs.
