General Story
Charles V, King of Spain and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, faced powerful foes in early 16th-century Europe. With innate heroism, he rose as a giant of his age, the protector of Europe, and a symbol of strength.
From 1519, he clashed with all the great powers of his time, defeating them with unmatched political skill and military strategy. In the Battle of Pavia, his wisdom led to a decisive victory and the capture of the French King. In 1529, he personally led his forces to repel the Ottoman invasion in Vienna, securing Europe’s peace. Across the seas, he conquered the Aztec Empire, marking the beginning of the colonial age.
Charles’s empire stretched from Spain to the heart of the Holy Roman Empire and the Americas, becoming the first “empire on which the sun never sets”. His name is etched in history, his conquests a shining example for future rulers.
