Simeon the Great: A Good Ranged-troop General in Evony

In 893, Simeon ascended to the Bulgarian throne with a clear ambition: to claim the Roman emperor’s crown.

In the summer of 917, he led an army of 60,000 troops to invade the Byzantine Empire. After a decisive victory at the Battle of Achelous, he advanced toward Constantinople, the most fortified city of the Middle Ages. Although he failed to breach its walls, the Bulgarian forces had already ravaged Byzantine lands, humiliating the Byzantine Empire.

Over the next five years, Simeon’s army would strike Constantinople four more times. In 925, disregarding protests from the Byzantine people, he declared them his subjects and proclaimed himself Emperor of the Romans and Bulgarians. Simeon thus solidified his position as the undisputed ruler of Southeast Europe.

The Way to Get Simeon the Great

Simeon the Great can not be recruited in Tavern but can be obtained in many other ways. We have compiled the following main approaches, which may not be comprehensive, but we believe they will work.

1. Compose General Fragment

You can use each 30 fragments to compose 1 exclusive general token of Simeon the Great.

Conversely, one Simeon the Great can also be perfectly dismissed into 30 fragments.

The fragment is a necessary item to ascend the general.

The quickest way to get Simeon the Great’s general fragments is to purchase the premium packages of VIP14, VIP15, and VIP16.

[Note: The VIP premium packages for new servers do not include the Historic General Fragment (Simeon the Great).]

2. General Portrait Exhibition

• Consume 600 General Invitations to redeem ‘Laurel Wreath Historic General’ (the second item on the redeem page) once.
• Consume 500 General Invitations to redeem ‘General Hall Ⅱ Historic General’ (the sixth item on the redeem page) once.

Get Simeon the Great from the General Portrait Exhibition

Both the 2 items can be exchanged for 99 times.

During the event, you can purchase the corresponding packages to get the General Invitation.

3. General Tokens

You have a chance to get General Simeon the Great from Epic Historic General (Premium), Epic Historic General, Epic General, and Adv General tokens.

4. King’s Scheme

Join the King’s Scheme Event, and you will have a chance to Simeon the Great after you redeem the third item – Epic Historic General (Super). Epic Historic General (Super) can only be redeemed once during the event time.

During the event, you can use 120 General Mementos to redeem it.
