Unlock Champions and Upgrade Loyalty for Buffs and Rewards in Evony

In Evony, besides General system, the other one thing can provide benefits to your troops and city development, is “Champion” feature. Champions are companions that monarchs meet during their travels. Some are prophets, others are queens of specific nations, and still others are mythical characters. Each Champion has a unique background and four skills. By increasing their loyalty, you can unlock their memories (storylines), claim rewards, and upgrade Champion Skills. This guide will provide a detailed explanation of each Champion’s skills, upgrade requirements, how to increase Loyalty (including how to obtain the required items), and the rewards available.

How to Unlock Champions in Evony?

Helen is the first champion. She doesn’t require a special token to activate, and you can activate her just when your keep reaches Lv6.
Elisabeth, Ariadne, Dulcinea, and Esmeralda were all first released through specific events. But now, you can obtain them all through the same event by redeeming the “Champion Token” for the corresponding unlocking tokens. Currently, you can redeem them at the “Helen’s Visit Event”.
Their respective unlockable items are as follows.
    • Elisabeth – Bavarian Floral Basket (Collect 400 Bavarian Flowers to compose a Bavarian Floral Basket.)
    • Ariadne – Ariadne’s Thread Ball (Collect 400 Ariadne’s Threads to compose an Ariadne’s Thread Ball.)
    • Dulcinea – La Mancha Armor (Collect 400 La Mancha Armor Fragments to compose a La Mancha Armor.)
    • Esmeralda – Roma Bouquet Pot

Get and Use Champions Tokens During Events

During the event, the first three items can be redeemed for just one champion token each, but combining them into the corresponding unlocked item requires 200 redemptions. The last item only requires one redemption, requiring 200 tokens. So, all the four above champions require 200 champion tokens to unlock.
When the other champions were first released, they were obtained from the corresponding King’s Party Cake Lv5 during various themed events. Subsequently, their unlocking tokens will be gradually re-released during the Revelry Carnival event. Now, Cassandra, Judith, and Marcia have returned. Their unlocking tokens are listed below.

Each Champion has 4 skills, each with 7 levels. The higher the level, the greater the bonus or debuff the skill provides.
This section displays the buff or debuff data for each skill at different levels for all champions in Evony. It will be updated as the game changes.

Helen

Upgrade Requirements of Champion Skills

To upgrade a Champion’s skills, you need to raise her “Loyalty” to a certain level. See the table below for specific requirements.

How to Level Up Champion Loyalty?

You can level up “Loyalty” by greeting, interaction (empowering), and sending gifts.
Greet:
  You can greet all Champions 10 times in total each day, and each time you can receive 15,000 Loyalty to the Champion you greet.
Interact (Empower):
  You can interact with all Champions 15 times in total per day. This will add 7,000 Loyalty to the Champion you interact with per time.
Send gifts:
  The gifts include the Love Box and the Ruby Necklace.
  There is no limit to the number of times you can send gifts。
  Sending a Love Box will increase 2,000 Loyalty, and sending a Ruby Necklace will increase 12,500 Loyalty.
Note:
  If you buy the Champion Monthly Card, your Champion Loyalty gained from greetings and empowering will be increased by 20%.

The Way to Get the Love Box and Ruby Necklace

Love Box:

  1. Resources gathering
      You can get up to 3 Love Boxes from RSS spots. Try to gather high-level spots to get more rewards.
  2. Monster killing
      You may receive up to 7 Love Boxes per day from basic monsters, boss monsters, event monsters, and Vikings. The higher the level of monsters, the higher probability of dropping the Love Box.
  3. Login rewards
      During festival events, daily “Login Reward” contains a Love Box per day.
  4. Active Monthly Card & Champion Monthly Card
      Monthly Card – Greet champions 2 times to claim Love Box * 2.
      Champion Monthly Card – Get 1 Champion Scene Mystery Box daily, which may give 1 to 3 Love Boxes.
  5. Special events
      Log in to PC Client events that earn rewards by accumulating time, such as the New Force, Royal Glory, and Aurora Vigil events.
  6. Purchase packages
      For example, go to the Giant Wisdom Temple event and buy the Luxury Golden Treasure in Giant’s Package. Also, buy the Graceful Elegance Package on the Champion page.

Ruby Necklace:

  1. Pay to Earn Ruby Necklaces
    • Champion Monthly Card: Buy it to get 5 Ruby Necklaces instantly. Then, claim 3 Ruby Necklaces and 1 Champion Scene Mystery Box daily. Open the box, and you also have a chance to receive Ruby Necklace(s) (and Love Boxes).
    • Festival event packages: Purchase event packages to get optional chests, and open the chests to select the Ruby Necklace. (The 1st to 5th level optional chests contain 1, 2, 6, 14, and 28 Ruby Necklaces, respectively.)
    • Champion event packages: Purchase Champion events (such as Helen’s Visit) packages to get Mythic Champion Gift Boxes, and open them to receive a random number (10, 2, or 1) of Ruby Necklaces. Or, buy the First Love Package to get 10 Ruby Necklaces.
    • Champion’s Affection packages: Affection Rare Package – Ruby Necklace * 15; Affection Epic Package – Ruby Necklace * 80
    • Active Monthly Card: Purchase the card, and greet champions 2 times to claim Ruby Necklace * 2.
    • Sulis Wishing Pool: Choose the desired items you like and use the Bath Coin to make a wish and receive the items. The wishing pool includes Ruby Necklace * 150. Once you purchase a specified amount of basic gems, you can claim bath coins in the upper-right corner of the event page.
    • King’s Party Event: Cake Lv5 – Ruby Necklace * 12; Cake Lv7 – Ruby Necklace * 24; Cake Lv9 – Ruby Necklace * 48

      Challenge quests to claim Wind Horn and use it to summon Wind. Then, you will acquire Wind Echoes from different Windmills. Next, you can use 180 Wind Echoes to redeem 5 Ruby Necklaces in the Breeze Shop on the event interface. You can redeem up to 10 times during the event.
  1. Star Goddess’ Box Event
      Consume the Star Key to open the 3 boxes on the event page. Then, you will have an opportunity to get the Ruby Necklace. You can get up to 360 Ruby Necklaces in each box.

Each Champion has 3 memories, which can be unlocked at certain Loyalty levels.
You can view Helen’s 3 memories when her loyalty reaches Lv2, 7, and 13, and others’ memories will open at Loyalty Lv3, 7, and 13 separately.
